Curious about that alcohol ink trend you’ve seen all over Instagram? Come learn how to master the technique with Arielle Rassel, the artist and creative behind Lemesto. In this two hour workshop, you’ll learn how to paint with alcohol inks to create beautiful, ethereal effects – no prior artistic skills or experience necessary! Then, we’ll apply what you’ve learned to paint your own ceramic vase, complete with a DIY bouquet! All materials, supplies, and flowers are included in the cost of the workshop.
Lemesto (Leh-mess-toh) was founded in late 2013 by designer Arielle Rassel, born of an innate desire to create beautiful things and share them with the world. I’ve always loved making things. Painting, sculpting, making jewelry, knitting — any kind of craft and I’m into it. After college at Savannah College of Art & Design, I embarked on a truly Orlando-themed career: designing and producing theme parks. I loved the massive scale and impact of the work, but missed making things by hand. I started Lemesto, which was named after my main materials at the time: Leather, Metal and Stone. My purpose for Lemesto is to create beautiful handcrafted goods with natural materials. Pieces that are elegant in their simplicity, yet unique enough to be significant.
