Ever wanted to learn how to play Dungeons and Dragons, but didn’t know where to start?
Phil Zoshak of Hero Spark and East End Market are teaming up to bring you a Dungeons and Dragons game night!
Choose your character and get ready for the coolest (and nerdiest) night of your life. Our team of Game Masters will teach you everything you need to know to play! Just bring your imagination and your favorite snack!
Come solo, with a a friend or book a whole table. Depending on the number of adventurers in your party and their experience, we’ll pair you with fellow adventures to round out your group and provide the perfect GM.
The evening will kick off with some history of D&D, a light tutorial and character sheet explanation, BUT most of this is a learn by adventuring scenario.
Your ticket ensures you have a seasoned Game Masters and access to their tool kit of dice, maps, miniatures and other gaming materials you’d otherwise bring to a standard game. We’ll also be providing some snacks curated by our East End’s chef in residence.
Check out the FAQ below and feel free to ask any questions in the comments section below.
I’ve never played D&D before…..is this game night for me?
Yes….this night is primarily focussed on new and returning players to Dungeons and Dragons. You’ll be placed with a GM that will demystify the game for you and get you right into he adventure without burying you too many nerdy terms.
I’ve played a bunch is this still something I’d enjoy?
Yes…..if you are more experienced player you’ll be placed with a GM that isn’t gong to hold you hand.
What do I need to bring?
All the gaming tools and pieces will be provided for you but we’d encourage you to bring a couple pencils, an eraser and some blank paper.
What food should I bring?
Bring your favorite snack and beverage (adult beverages too). There will be some snacks provided but we also encourage you to grab some nostalgic snacks that’ll transport you back to the dungeon crawling of your youth.
NOTE: It’s generally a good practice to bring a drinking vessel with a lid. Spilling your beverage over the table would start a tavern brawl….so bring your adult sippy cup!
